We are a group of friends who originated from a South Indian state called Kerala which is famous for its heritage and culture. Kerala is also popularly known as God's own country. Our main focus is not just forming a club but it is also providing a second home for the Malayali Bruins. We would like to especially help the new Malayali students to cope with the new environment and connect with each other. We prioritize the needs of our members and their mental health. We are planning to host special events aimed at alleviating homesickness among students and fostering stronger community connections among the Mallus here at Sheridan. Moreover, they can benefit from guidance on navigating various aspects of life in a new place, such as cultural adaptation. We also promote creating a feeling of community and belonging among Malayali students by offering chances to celebrate our customs, language, and heritage.
